How have you benefited from Racism?

Ask learners to take a couple minutes to write down, as they understand them right now, the three most significant ways that they benefit from white privilege.  Learners of color should be encouraged to look for points of advantage for them above others but they should be free to list no benefit.  This should be considered a valid response and part of the following discussion.  At the end of ten minutes or when everyone is completed, ask everyone to share two of the three things that they wrote down.  Allow for clarifying questions from students but do not start discussion until everyone has shared.  What similarities are there?  Are any of these intentional decisions made to benefit?
